Holiday Dinner and Gift Giveaway

Each year TGNC gathers families in the local community for dinner, an afternoon of storytelling, outdoor activities and gift give away. TGNC recruits mentors for each family that will spend the day with the mothers at the event. In addition, young adults are recruited to spend time with the children for recreational outdoor activities for the day. After the outdoor activities we share a meal together, and then share a holiday story followed by passing out gifts for each child. For the last two years, TGNC has received donations from the Wilkinsburg Police Department, Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, Cornerstone Television Network and individuals.
