Back 2 School Family Reset

Each year as an organization we identify key families within our community that may need assistance and help financially and practically as the new school year emerges. After identifying these families, we do a needs assessment on what gap areas exist that would prevent the students and families from having a great start to the school year. After the needs assessment we identify the areas that we can help through practical giving or through linking families with resources in the community. We are committed to filing gap areas in the following ways

1. Providing School supplies and uniforms

2. Ensuring children having all medical requirements met as outlined by the Department of Health and the Department of Education

3. Provide children with haircut and hair styling appointments

4. Facilitate a family meeting where vision and goals for the coming year are discussed and a plan of action is created

5. Facilitate discussion around gap areas in the plan of action and how this could positively affect them
